To create a desktop shortcut for a phonebook record:
- Right-click the phonebook record. The ‘Record context menu‘ will appear (
 illustration).

- Use the Create Shortcut on Desktop sub-menu and select the connection mode.
- The created shortcut will link to the specific record in the specific phonebook and will use the same settings as the corresponding record.
- If the record in the corresponding phonebook is deleted, the shortcut will become invalid.
